The Water Systems Council has appointed Jeff Hyson, director of sales for Pentair-Water Solutions, to its board of directors.  He replaces Dan Borah, who left Pentair after six years to pursue other interests.

"You always think that access to clean drinking water is a third world problem, but WSC has really opened my eyes to its existence here at home," Hyson says.  "What the organization is trying to do is important and I look forward to representing Pentair and trying to make a difference."

Hyson joined Pentair in 2012 as director of sales for the company’s electronic protection business. In that role he managed the sales of Schroff brand products into diverse vertical market customer segments.  Before joining the Pentair-Water Solutions team, he was sales process director for Pentair's flow and filtration solutions global business unit.

He earned his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering technologyfrom DeVry Institute of Technology.
