Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Company recently moved its branch location to Baltimore from Jessup, Md.

“This move is welcomed by our staff,” said Thompson Northeast Regional Manager Mike Stanzione. “The new location helps position us to better support our growing business needs and further improve the level of service that we are currently providing to our customers.”

The new location sits on 4.6 acres with easy access to the Baltimore Beltway. The company says the site has plenty of space to store and service pumps, parts and accessories. Office space also gives the company room for staff growth, which it says it needs to better service a growing customer base in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, and parts of New York and New Jersey.

Thompson’s Baltimore-Washington Branch will be managed by Tucker LaMontagne and offer the company’s full line of dewatering, bypass and specialty pump products for sale and rental. Call 410-799-0451 or fax 410-799-0454.

Thompson—family owned for 43 years—manufactures a variety of pumps ranging in size from two to 18 inches and with capacities up to 14,000 gpm. The Florida-based company sells and rents its entire line to customers in sectors including public works, construction, agriculture and mining. The company operates 21 branches throughout the United States and has a worldwide network of distributors. It also has achieved ISO 9001 quality certification for their Port Orange, Fla., manufacturing facility. For more information, call 800-767-7310 or visit www.thompsonpump.com
