The Driller is pleased to announce that Chelsea Yordy has been promoted to publisher, effective October 2nd. In her new role, Chelsea will lead the publication into a new era of innovation and growth.

Chelsea brings a wealth of successful experience in the media industry, most recently spearheading the amazing re-birth of The Driller from former print publication to digital industry leader. She has a proven track record of successfully navigating the evolving media landscape and driving teams to new heights.

Chelsea’s background is rooted in the fine arts world where she quickly learned the importance of strategic and timely collaboration and creative, out-of-the-box thinking. This style of work followed her as she joined MLive Media Group, a part of the media powerhouse Condé Nast and Advance Local, in 2014. There she cut her teeth building and managing digital and print advertising campaigns at the local and international level.

As publisher of The Driller, Chelsea will be responsible for overseeing the media platform’s editorial direction, strategic planning and business development efforts. Her deep understanding of the drilling industry and her commitment to providing valuable and relevant content will be instrumental in guiding the brand forward.

"I am excited and honored to lead this legacy brand," said Chelsea. "I look forward to working with the talented team here to continue delivering high-quality content and services to our readers and advertisers. The drilling industry plays a crucial role in our world, and I am committed to ensuring that The Driller remains a trusted source of information and insights for professionals in this field."

Chelsea's appointment comes at a pivotal time for The Driller as it continues to expand its digital presence and adapt to the changing needs of its readers and advertisers. Her vision, leadership and dedication to excellence make her the ideal choice to lead the magazine into this exciting new chapter.

"We are thrilled to welcome Chelsea Yordy as our new Publisher," said former Driller Publisher Michael Balzano. "Her desire for excellence, a real passion for analytics, her strategic acumen and her deep industry knowledge have always been obvious, and will be invaluable assets as she continues to serve the drilling community. We have always had great confidence in Chelsea's ability. The choice to have her lead this team was an easy one."

Chelsea’s appointment as publisher of The Driller signals a commitment to maintaining the brand's reputation as a leading source of information and insights in the drilling industry. Her expertise and dedication to excellence will undoubtedly contribute to the media platform’s continued growth and success.
