Xylem has moved its branch in Chesapeake, Va., to Norfolk, Va. The new location is about nine miles from the old one.

"Our goal is to continue to offer the highest level of service to all our customers in Hampton Roads and its surrounding areas," Regional Manager Jarrod Williamson said.

The new branch has larger office and shop spaces, with a combined 17,500 square feet. The company says the new location is more centralized. It also features a larger, 5.5-acre yard for inventory storage.

The new branch will have the same employees and the company says efforts were made to minimize interruptions in service during the move. The Norfolk location is part of the company’s dewatering division, and features Godwin products and Flygt pumps for construction and mining projects.

An open house and grand opening event will be announced soon. The new address is 1190 Harmony Road, Norfolk, VA, 23502. The main telephone number is 757-490-1300 and mobile phones for office personnel remain the same.

Xylem, based in White Plains, N.Y., serves the public utility, residential, commercial and agricultural markets with a variety of pump and water treatment products. The company has about 12,500 employees worldwide. For more information, visit www.xyleminc.com.
