Xylem announced recently that the company moved its global headquarters to a different location in Westchester County, N.Y.
“We’re excited to be moving to our new location, and are pleased to be staying in Westchester County,” said Xylem CEO and President Steve Loranger. “This move represents Xylem’s commitment to growth and innovation. Our new, expanded space is a modern, world-class headquarters designed to encourage collaboration and training.”
The company signed a 10-year lease for the second and third floors at Reckson Executive Park at 1 International Drive in Rye Brook, N.Y. Xylem had the 67,000-square-foot space renovated to “to reflect Xylem’s business and brand identity.” There are also plans to get the building LEED certified, which supports the company’s sustainable business practices.
Xylem has called White Plains, N.Y., its headquarters since it spun off from ITT Corporation in 2011. The company has about 800 employees in New York, including manufacturing and administrative facilities in Cheektowaga, Seneca Falls and Auburn.
Xylem, based in Rye Brook, N.Y., serves the public utility, residential, commercial and agricultural markets with a variety of pump and water treatment products. The company has about 12,500 employees worldwide. For more information, visit www.xyleminc.com.
