Water and wastewater supplier United Flow Technologies is expanding deeper into the Southeast with two strategic acquisitions aimed at strengthening its technical reach in fast-growing markets.
The Irving, Texas–based company announced it has acquired CS3 Water Works, a Florida-focused waterworks supplier known for valves and flow control equipment, along with Principle Environmental, Inc., which serves municipal and industrial customers across Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle.
Together, the deals significantly broaden UFT’s regional presence while adding depth in both valve systems and process equipment — two core components of modern water and wastewater infrastructure.
CS3 Water Works strengthens UFT’s position across Florida, one of the country’s fastest-growing utility markets, where demand for new water systems and upgrades continues to surge alongside population growth. The company brings established municipal relationships and technical specialization in flow control products critical for treatment plants and distribution systems.
Principle Environmental adds another layer of scale across the broader Southeast, expanding UFT’s ability to support treatment facilities with a wide portfolio of process equipment used in everything from filtration and pumping to system optimization.
The acquisitions align with UFT’s larger strategy of building strong regional platforms rather than simply expanding nationally from afar — combining local expertise with a growing national supply and solutions network.
United Flow Technologies operates as a portfolio company of Berkshire Partners, which has been backing the company’s expansion across the municipal and industrial water sectors.
As infrastructure investment continues to rise — driven by aging systems, population growth, and tightening water regulations — distributors with technical depth and local support are becoming increasingly critical to keeping projects moving.
With these latest additions, UFT is positioning itself as a larger player in one of the country’s most active water infrastructure corridors, reinforcing a trend toward consolidation across the water and wastewater supply chain.
