Designed for municipal, industrial, and wastewater applications, this advanced swing check valve meets ANSI/AWWA Standard C508 full waterway design requirements.

Engineered for durability and reliability, the ductile iron body valve features a rapid-closure stainless-steel spring that minimizes flapper disc hinge closing time—preventing slamming during rapid flow reversals and water hammer. Its unique spring design is angled at a 45-degree seating surface, minimizing disc travel. A raised rib seal on the molded Buna-N flapper disc ensures bubble-tight sealing under low pressure, making it suitable for vacuum service.

Smart Maintenance

Maintenance is simple and efficient for the Flo-Flex® 745SC Surge-Stopper®. The replaceable one-piece molded flapper and rapid-closure spring are field-accessible without pipeline removal via the ductile iron valve cover access port. The valve body surfaces are coated inside and out with NSF/ANSI 61 powder epoxy, ensuring long-term corrosion resistance.
