Flomatic Valves has announced the release of its latest product, the 12” Model 92 Swing Check Valve, a durable and highly adaptable valve designed for municipal and industrial water systems. Engineered to minimize water hammer during pump shutdown, the new valve meets the stringent ANSI/AWWA C508 standard and fully complies with American Iron and Steel (AIS) and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements.
The Model 92 is available in three customizable configurations to meet varied operational demands:
- 3712LS – Lever & Spring
- 3712LW – Lever & Weight
- 3712CS – Lever, Weight & Air Cushion
Each version offers horizontal or vertical (flow-up) installation and features a field-convertible design that includes a convertible shaft, dual-keyed lever arm, and symmetrical cylinder mount — streamlining both installation and adjustments in the field.
Constructed from ductile iron, the Model 92’s robust design handles high-stress and shock load conditions. It includes a replaceable stainless steel seat ring for high solids environments, and a one-piece cut seat seal that delivers bubble-tight performance while actively self-cleaning during operation.
Maintenance is made simple with field-replaceable internal components accessible through a dedicated valve cover port — eliminating the need to remove the valve from the pipeline. Both the valve’s interior and exterior surfaces are protected with NSF/ANSI 61 certified powder epoxy coating, enhancing its resistance to corrosion over time.
American-Made for American Infrastructure
True to its commitment to U.S. manufacturing and sustainable infrastructure, Flomatic confirms that the Model 92 is fully AIS and BABA compliant, using domestically sourced materials and components.
With the launch of the Model 92, Flomatic continues to expand its portfolio of advanced water system solutions that meet the evolving needs of infrastructure projects across the country.
