HSI, a well-known name in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) software, has announced the launch of its latest platform feature: AI-Powered Corrective Actions. This new capability is designed to help safety professionals respond more effectively to workplace incidents by offering tailored recommendations and training suggestions—right when they’re needed most.

The idea is simple: when an incident is reported through the HSI system, the platform’s AI analyzes the details and generates specific corrective actions and related training courses. It’s all part of an effort to reduce repeat incidents and make workplaces safer, without adding more to a team’s workload.

“Every incident is unique, but the goal is always the same: prevent it from happening again,” said Jose Arcilla, CEO of HSI. “AI-Powered Corrective Actions helps safety teams get consistent, data-backed guidance they can use to take action quickly.”

The feature is part of HSI Intelligence, a growing suite of AI tools within the platform. While the AI offers suggestions, the final call still rests with the EHS professional—who can review, edit, or approve the recommendations. That balance between automation and human judgment is something HSI emphasizes across its platform.

“At the end of the day, AI should support people, not replace them,” Arcilla added. “That’s the philosophy behind everything we’re building.”

In addition to AI-Powered Corrective Actions, HSI Intelligence includes several other tools designed to simplify day-to-day EHS tasks:

  • Image Hazard Recognition, which flags potential risks from uploaded photos of job sites
  • EHS Summaries, which break down key details from incident reports
  • Learning Path Recommendations, offering customized training plans for employees
  • Catalog Search, a smart way to find relevant courses among 5,000+ offerings

These features reflect HSI’s broader approach: combining smart technology with practical tools that help teams stay ahead of risks. And according to the company, more AI-powered tools are on the way.
