Mike Floyd on the 2022 South Atlantic Jubilee
The South Atlantic Jubilee returns July 30-Aug. 1, 2022. The water well, groundwater and geotech trade show and training event brings together professionals from the nine member states and, as it grows, well beyond. We spoke with Mike Floyd, president of the South Atlantic Jubilee, to get a preview of the show and some perspective on drilling and groundwater.
“People need to use groundwater responsibly, and I think that our industry needs to be involved in that — in that decision-making and then how that’s done,” Floyd says. “I think we can bring a lot to the table. We need to be actively engaged in that.”
In addition to serving as president of the Jubilee board, Floyd leads the environmental division with Charlotte, N.C.-based McCall Bros. Inc., which offers water well, environmental, foundation and other types of drilling. He is also active in the North Carolina Ground Water Association.
