Cascade Environmental Holdings LLC, through its subsidiary Cascade Drilling L.P. (Cascade), has acquired Aquifer Drilling & Testing Inc. (ADT), Sonic Drilling Services (SDS) and Diversified Geophysics Inc. (DGI).

The additions expand Cascade's drilling fleet and service capabilities in the eastern region, including state-of-the-art sonic drilling technology.

ADT has been a drilling servicer  for more than 27 years. With the ability to choose from several different drilling methods, ADT works to gather subsurface information for clients regardless of drilling conditions.

SDS has extensive experience servicing the drilling needs of public and private industry. The company specializes in sonic drilling technology for geotechnical, environmental and geo-construction applications.

Diversified Geophysics Inc. (DGI) provides a complete suite of underground utility locating services to environmental and geotechnical engineers, construction project managers and geologists, and has over 12 years of experience with subsurface investigations.

The acquisition of ADT, SDS and DGI brings Cascade's total rig count to more than 330 sonic, air rotary, mud rotary, auger, coring and probe rigs serving clients across North America. The combined company employs more than 800 people in 41 offices nationwide. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
