The new committee was designed to increase industry awareness of the need for effective management of ground risks. The group aims to promote the value of adequate subsurface investigation, characterization and construction monitoring. The end goals are informed design, improved constructability and bid economy.
Donald is a senior principal with Terracon and the national director for its geotechnical services program. He works with the company’s operations staff to improve quality and client services. His background includes an emphasis on site characterization aspects of geotechnical engineering and solid waste engineering. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Louisiana State University.
