The Business Council of Mongolia (BCM) is collaborating with Discover Mongolia and Invest Mongolia Agency to offer a customized business-to-business trade mission in Mongolia.

A mission fee of $7,500 includes entry to the Discover Mongolia Mining Exposition, first-class hotel accommodations in Ulaanbaatar, one-on-one meetings with BCM members and government officials, ground transportation, most meals and special receptions.

The mission will last a week and will coincide with the annual Discover Mongolia Mining Exposition in Ulaanbaatar on Sept. 4-5, 2014. During this mission, attendees will have business opportunities that include meeting ministerial and other government officials during meet-and-greet sessions. By making appointments beforehand at www.bcmongolia.org/en/members, attendees can pre-arrange one-on-one meetings with leaders and decision makers from the 230 national and international companies BCM represents.

The Trade Mission Network (TMN) will work closely with attendees to prearrange their agendas for the week, helping them develop their business agendas and set up appropriate meetings. TMN will offer further assistance during and after their visits as well. 

TMN reports identifying the following business opportunities in recent meetings in Ulaanbaatar:

• Mining exploration, production and marketing
• Drilling and production equipment (sales, leasing, repair/maintenance and resale)
• Water/wastewater management
• Clean coal and coal-to-liquid technologies
• Geology, lobbying, public relations, translation and other professional services
• Construction in all sectors
• Oil/gas, crude and shale extraction, development and marketing

Attendees can request, for additional cost, tours in and around Ulaanbaatar, to the Gobi Desert and to remote mining sites such as Oyu Tolgoi.
