The Enhanced Esybox Mini 3 from DAB Pumps
In 2013, DAB Pumps set a new benchmark in the booster pump sector with the introduction of the original Esybox. Following this, DAB developed the Esybox Mini to cater to smaller applications, subsequently releasing the quieter Esybox Mini 3, alongside the Esybox Diver for submersible environments, tanks, and cisterns, and the Esybox Max for larger commercial and industrial demands. Drawing from extensive customer feedback and iterative development, DAB has launched the latest iteration of the Esybox Mini 3, which boasts several enhanced features, including the DAB DConnect service for installers and the DAB Live! App for end-users.
- An installer in the northeastern U.S. relayed this information: “These DAB Esybox Mini 3 pumps are a game changer. Significantly quieter than the old jet pump and pressure tank that was previously installed in this application. They deliver constant pressure with virtually no fluctuation in pressure at the point of use. These pumps also track the total gallons used in the home, which may be helpful for those who have water meters."
- Another customer in North Carolina said, “The Mini 3 is very small and has a screen on the front to make adjustments. Also, if it sucks any air, it will go into a fault state for 15 minutes and try again. No more worrying about burning up my pump.”
Notable Enhancements
The updated Esybox Mini 3 features a refined user interface that streamlines access to operational data without necessitating a reconfiguration of the menu structure. Existing users will appreciate the intuitive design that allows them to make adjustments without extensive retraining. A key innovation is the capability to electronically pair two Esybox Mini 3 units, effectively creating a compact booster set that can double the flow rate typical of a single unit. This configuration allows operation with a standard 115V supply, or dual-voltage at 230V, leveraging the Esybox Mini 3's versatile design. Additionally, DAB has introduced the Esybox Mini 3 Twin Dock accessory, facilitating straightforward hydraulic integration between the two pumps for seamless installation.
Connectivity Features
The latest Esybox Mini 3 units not only allow for interconnection between pumps but also feature Wi-Fi connectivity, empowering both installers and users to monitor system performance, receive over-the-air software updates, and be alerted via mobile notifications or emails in case of faults. This capability enables installers to provide ongoing service and monitoring contracts—enhancing operational efficiency and customer support. Utilizing the DConnect App and Portal, installers can deliver regular performance reports remotely and make system adjustments without the need for on-site visits. Customers can freely access the DAB Live! App to track their pump's status and utilize advanced features such as Power Shower and Power Saving modes. It's important to note that the DConnect App incurs a modest annual fee, while the DAB Live! App is provided at no cost.
DAB Pumps is committed to constantly refining the performance and operational scope of its pump and control systems, and this latest update is a testament to its dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction and product reliability.
