Foundation Drilling Rig Designed for Versatility, Economy
The LRB 255 is part of Germany-based Liebherr’s LRB series, which also includes the LRB 125 (XL) and the LRB 155. The company prides itself on rigs that are highly productive in difficult conditions, but also versatile and economical. Liebherr’s LRB 255 can work piling jobs with vibe and hydraulic hammers, but also handle drilling projects using a double rotary head, continuous flight auger and Kelly drilling equipment.
The LRB 255 has an operating weight of 176,370 pounds, a maximum leader length of 98 feet, maximum torque of 66,138 lbf-ft and a maximum push/pull force of 99,200 pounds, all from a 670 kW engine.
