Ten students will share $20,000 in scholarships from the National Ground Water Research and Educational Foundation, the group announced this month. Each of the recipients is entering a field of study that serves, supports or promotes groundwater professions.

The scholarships come from the group’s Len Assante Scholarship Fund. The top scholarship-the Past President’s Award-goes to Joshua Olson of Amery, Wis. Olson is studying hydrology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
