Constant Pressure System

Grundfos Pumps’ SmartFlo SQE Constant Pressure System is designed to automatically adjust water pressure to meet your needs. Its computer-controlled components monitor water demand and adjust pressure to meet it. The control panel displays system status and allows you to manually adjust pressure when needed. A compact system, the SmartFlo is comprised of a pump, a small pressure tank and control panel. Grundfos Pumps

High-capacity Submersible Pumps

Flint & Walling Inc.’s Commander line of submersible pumps now includes 35-, 55- and 85-gpm models. Featuring 304 stainless steel suction and discharge castings, the Commander Plus series is designed to be impervious to most aggressive water situations such as low pH and chemicals in the water. Additional product features include stainless steel pump shell, suction screen, cable guard, mounting ring screen, discharge head with safety rope eyelet and hex drive shaft. Flint & Walling Inc.

Submersible Solids Handling Pumps

Sta-Rite Industries’ sewage pumps are built of cast iron and stainless steel hardware. Performances range from 4/10 HP through 2 HP, and standard features include thermally protected motors with automatic reset, 250,000+-cycle test endurance, 2-inch solids passage, UL/CSA approv-al and field replaceable power cords. Options include tethered-style float switches with piggyback style plugs, control panels for simplex/duplex operation and 2-inch or 3-inch NPT standard discharge. Sta-Rite Industries

Complete Pump Line

A.Y. McDonald Manufacturing Co. offers a complete line of pumps that includes bronze, stainless steel, high-flow stainless steel and turbine submersible pumps, jet pumps, centrifugal pumps, sump pumps, emergency back-up sump pumps, effluent pumps, sewage ejectors and dewatering pumps. Small Portable Bladder Pump

The 3⁄4-inch Sample Pro portable MicroPurge pump from QED Environmental Systems Inc. delivers low flow rates for sampling small diameter wells, in direct push and conventional applications. Disposable bladders, push-in tubing and 1⁄4-turn disassembly have been designed to make sampling and decontamination faster and more efficient. An optional consultant’s kit contains all supplies needed for 10 rounds of sampling. QED Environmental Systems Inc.

Constant Pressure Pumping Stations

Chameleon constant pressure pumping stations, manufactured by Cycle Stop Valves Inc., feature a mechanical soft start and stop, constant speed pumps and no variable frequency drives. These pumping stations are available with 1-gpm to 10,000-gpm flow ranges. Standard construction includes submersible, turbine or centrifugal pumps, single or multiple pumps, silent check valves, modulating pressure relief valve, isolation valves, heavy steel skids and powder coating. Standard controls include pump panels, mechanical on/off pressure switch, mechanical low discharge pressure switch, overload protection and phase loss and low voltage protection. Line of Pumps

General Pump presents its Eagle 4000 series of pumps. Available in 5-, 7-, 10-, 15-, 18- and 25-gpm ca-pacities, the Eagle 4000 line ranges from 1⁄2 HP to 11⁄2 HP. They consist of a high-impact thermoplastic discharge head and motor bracket with an external plastic check valve. The stages are thermoplastic, while the housing and shaft are 300 series stainless steel. General Pump

Water Pressure Booster System

Davey USA’s new HS multi-stage, pressure-booster system is controlled by the Hydrascan, providing constant and high-pressure water flow. It is engineered to achieve a strong, even flow to improve the performance of showers, faucets, washing machines and irrigation systems. The system boosts incoming municipal water pressure by 40 psi to 50 psi. Designed to be compact, quiet and easy to install, this system’s applications include all residential needs, including boosting existing well systems. Davey USA

Regenerative Turbine Pump

The T31 Series of closed close-coupled regenerative turbine pumps from MTH Pumps, Plano, Ill., is designed for low-flow (1⁄2 gpm - 9 gpm) applications involving moderate to high pressures (heads to 400 feet). T31 Series pumps contain only three major components, allowing for easy service. All bronze-fitted pumps have Buna rubber, high temperature carbon and ceramic seats, while stainless steel pumps feature Viton rubber and ceramic seats. Close-coupled T31 pumps use standard “C” face single-phase 60/50 hertz 115-230 volt motors with a keyed stainless steel shaft. Optional seats and materials are available. MTH Pumps

Hand-lift Pressure Pumps

Oasis Pumps Manufacturing presents hand-lift pressure pumps used for liquid transfer. Built with high-impact plastic, weighing less than 4 pounds and designed to be resistant to salt water and most chemicals, Oasis pumps are engineered to be durable, lightweight and non-corrosive. At 18 inches high, they pump up to 10 gpm and will adapt to any plumbing application PVC, pipe, thread, hose, etc. with standard adapters. Applications include monitoring wells and test wells, campsites, summer homes, rural dwellings, parks and picnic areas; these pumps can be placed at any location where water has to be carried, pumped or hauled. Canned and Rewindable Submersible Motors

Sumoto SRL, an Italian manufacturer of NEMA-standard submersible motors, features two four-inch models: one is canned, filled with water, while the other is rewindable, cooled by a special food-grade liquid. Sumoto also offers 3-inch and 6-inch rewindable motors. The two-wire, rewindable motors are available up to 1.5 HP. Sumoto SRL

Liberty Process Equipment Inc. introduces its four-page brochure of ISO 9001 progressive cavity pumps, replacement spare parts and support services. The various models, sizes and material specifications offered are provided on each pump series. Individual photographs are provided on the wobble stator, standard flange, open throat and sanitary pumps, as well as on the in-stock inventory of rotors, stators and seals. Vertical Turbine Pumps

Vertical turbine pumps from Wolf Pumps feature a cast iron discharge case and a bowl shaft that is either stainless steel or chrome-plated. Cast iron discharge head assemblies range from 3 inches to 10 inches. The im-peller is bronze, balanced to reduce vibration, and either semi-open or enclosed. These pumps range in capacity from 75 gpm to 3,500 gpm, with bowl sizes from 6 inches to 15 inches. Wolf Pumps

Submersible and Booster Pumps

The Quantum line of 4-inch submersible and booster pumps from Hays Pumps Inc. features heavy-duty stainless steel construction, a bearing design with upper and lower bearings on the stack providing up-thrust protection, a heavy-duty 7⁄16-inch stainless steel precision-straightened shaft and composite materials for wear resistance. The 4-inch submersibles are available in 5-gpm to 70-gpm and 1⁄2-HP to 10-HP units. The programmable, variable-speed booster pumps come in 7-, 12- and 30-gpm versions to provide constant pressure for both well and city installations. Hays Pumps Inc.
