Atlas Copco has extended its range of button bits for surface and underground drilling with new models designed for soft rock formations. The new models feature full ballistic buttons that protrude 20 percent to 25 percent more than standard ballistic buttons. The longer and more pointed buttons are intended to help the bit penetrate deeper with each hammer stroke. Atlas Copco, Card No. 177
