NGWA So Far

By Jeremy Verdusco
ND Editor's Blog Default
December 4, 2013
This year's National Ground Water Association event looks like a good one. The venue, the Nashville Music Center, is roomy, new and a handsome sight to look at. It's centrally located downtown among hotels and great entertainment options.

I write this as I watch the first attendees scurry about the expo floor checking out the exhibitor booths vendors worked so hard on. There's a lot of activity, and plenty of vendors to check out. If you're here in Nashville, be sure to pick up a copy of National Driller for our "What's New for 2014" showcase. We feature many of the vendors at the show, so tell them you saw them in National Driller.

The opening ceremony this morning featured the award presentations, as well as the inaugural H20 Talks, which are new this year and modeled after the popular TED Talks. The first one featured professor Michael Campana, who we interviewed for our December issue, talking about hydrophilanthropy. I'll post photos from the opener and other highlights of the show in a photo gallery soon.

If you're at the NGWA event, be sure to stop booth 330 to say hello. I enjoy meeting readers, and hearing rants and raves about the magazine.
