Tony Kraut
Tony Kraut is the Sales Manager at Watson Drill Rigs in Fort Worth, TX where he has worked for 19 years. In 1987 Tony was introduced to drilling water wells in the Pacific Northwest after his separation from the USAF where he was a Survival Instructor. Tony became a licensed driller in WA, ID and MT. He has completed HAZMAT training and has experience installing ground water monitoring wells for mining leach ponds, gas stations and landfills. Tony has drilled for multiple applications to include geothermal, elevator shafts, bridge foundations, dewatering, blast hole and water for residential, commercial and irrigation applications. Tony advanced his career in 1996 by earning an AA degree in fluid power technology. His experience as a driller and with an education in hydraulic powered systems presented an opportunity to work as a technical writer for a drill manufacturing firm. Tony has been working for drill rig manufacturers in the roles of a Service Manager, Sales Representative and now Sales Manager. Tony was a board of director for the ADSC (Association of Drilled Shaft Contractors) for 9 years and served as Educational Committee Chairman. Tony was instrumental in the development of the NCCO drill operator certification program. He also teaches and coordinates drill operator training programs and hydraulic training schools. Tony always enjoys opportunities to encourage young adults to help find their successful career path with a trade skill.
