Are you on offense or defense for water conservation and climate policy?

ARPA-E program director tells the Driller it’s developing high-temperature drilling technologies.

On September 17^th, the Home Energy Efficiency Team (HEET), in collaboration with the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) and Geothermal Drillers Association (GDA), graduated the first class of seven new-to-the-ground-source geothermal industry professionals. 

The demand for geothermal heat pumps (GHP) is soaring as the world embraces renewable energy solutions. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning  (HVAC) professionals, drillers, ground-loop contractors, system designers, and financial institutions are all poised to benefit, but they must overcome several workforce development challenges

Geothermal is a firm, reliable technology we should all adopt.

In the final quarter of 2024, with just five years and two months to hit our 2030 goals, the mistaken identity of construction for power generation geothermal is something that our industry can work through.

The private market is booming. But is it sustainable growth?

The battle against climate change will be won before 2030. 

The geothermal industry was there as I grew up, expanding alongside me and I have learned so much over the years.

The opportunities for new hires in the ground source geothermal industry are boundless.
