Pentair Flow & Filtration Solutions has expanded its TMH series of submersible pumps with the launch of the 7TMH submersible pump. The new 7TMH series joins the 5TMH and 6TMH series in providing advanced head per stage while reducing overall stage counts, assembly time and warehouse space needs.

“Pentair’s new 7TMH submersible pumps provide customers with more performance for their money, and at a lower operating cost,” says Jim Forster, product manager of Pentair Flow & Filtration Solutions - Water Solutions. “The TMH series’ higher efficiency and head per stage give customers the benefit of more efficient energy utilization, moving more water with less electricity, particularly when coupled with a Pentek motor.”

Forster credits the state-of-the-art hydraulic design of the TMH for helping ensure the pump’s maximum performance and longevity. Impellers and diffusers were designed together to provide maximum hydraulic performance. The pump’s new motor coupling now contains sand boots to help protect from sand intrusion. New ductile iron discharges and motor adapters were designed to increase strength while reducing intake restriction losses, and the full contact collet design helps hold impellers tightly onto the shaft.
