Commemorating 25 years of building one of the world’s largest private solenoid pump and controller companies, EMEC celebrated its 25th anniversary under the starlit skies of central Italy in a gala event held in early July that included 350 employees, families and representatives from around the globe. The gala event, which included dinner, presentations and the finest wine from across Italy, concluded with a dazzling, music-choreographed fireworks display.

In 1982, like many entrepreneurial endeavors, EMEC was launched from a garage. Since then, EMEC has grown to become the second largest privately held solenoid metering pump manufacturer and a global technology leader with an extensive product line. Founded by Maurizio Mancini, Claudio Ciogli, Enrico Magnasco and Enrico DeSisto, the company began with three employees who still are with the company today.

EMEC designs and manufactures metering pumps, controllers, sensors and accessories, and maintains facilities in Rieti and Milan, Italy, and in Boston and Houston. It also retains distributors in 36 countries.
