In
October this year, I called on drillers in northwestern Pennsylvania, many of
them rotary and cable-tool drillers. Most of the rotary drillers are the
younger generation. I was surprised at how many cable-tool drillers there are
in this part of Pennsylvania.
During
the next few months, we will focus on the electrical side of pumped water
systems. We’ll start by looking at the components in two-wire and three-wire
single-phase systems.
Splicing

splice, between the motor leads and the pump cable.

important to him. Many
people dislike wearing a hardhat; I don’t understand why.
When performance monitoring data suggest decreases in injection or extraction well efficiency below acceptable levels, the well will require rehabilitation to return it to optimal flow rates.
