The Water Well Trust is seeking applicants for water well financing assistance in 15 Georgia counties.

The Water Well Trust created a memorial fund for the late CEO of Pumps of Houston Inc. after his October 2015 death.

With the help of a $140,000 USDA grant, the trust drilled and rehabbed 24 water wells in Arkansas.

The funding received by the Water Well Trust aims to help more homeowners in New York and South Carolina afford water well services.

The number of counties eligible for water well drilling or rehab has increased from six to 10.

This marks the second grant of its kind for Georgia water wells.

The entire project will serve an estimated 145 people in the high-need, low-resource rural area.

The grant is from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Household Water Well Systems program.
