Honoring Drilling Veteran, Longtime National Driller Writer Wayne Nash
On today’s Ask Brock, episode 81, host Brock Yordy reflects on the life and influence of drilling expert and National Driller columnist Wayne Nash, who he calls “the man, the myth, the godfather of the drilling industry.”
Mr. Nash passed away Oct. 23, 2020 at the age of 70.
“I know you’re looking down at us right now with a cold one and laughing at the decision we’re about to make, knowing that if we’d just read one more of your articles we could have done things the right way,” Yordy says.
Wayne Nash wrote his “World According to Wayne” column for more than a decade, sharing stories, tips, tricks and (sometimes obscene, but always informative) wisdom. Yordy says that writing was an inspiration for plenty of young drillers.
