Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co. relocated the company’s Conyers, Ga., branch to a larger facility in the same city.

“This move is welcomed by our staff,” said Thompson Pump South-Atlantic Regional Manager Pat DeWitt. “The new location will allow us to operate more efficiently and improve upon the excellent service that we are currently providing to our customers.” DeWitt oversees the branch, which is one of two the company maintains in Georgia. The other is in Savannah along the Pacific coast.

Conyers, Ga., is just east of Atlanta. The new branch sits near Interstate 20, and features a 5,500-square-foot facility on more than 3 acres. The company said in a statement that the new branch, which includes a large parts room, will help it serve growing demand for rentals, sales, parts and service in Georgia, eastern Tennessee and western parts of North Carolina and South Carolina.

The new address of the branch is 2394 Sigman Industrial Court, Conyers, GA 30012. The telephone number is 770-466-1450 and the fax number is 770-466-1115. It offers Thomspon’s full line of sales and rentals for dewatering, bypass and special pumping applications.

Thompson—family owned for 43 years—manufactures a variety of pumps ranging in size from 2 to 18 inches and with capacities up to 14,000 gpm. The Florida-based company sells and rents its entire line to customers in sectors including public works, construction, agriculture and mining. Thompson also provides engineering and consulting services, as well as training.
