The Water Quality Association (WQA) recently elected Robert Hague, CWS-VI, Groveport, Ohio, as association president.

The election took place at WQA Aquatech USA 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., on March 11.

Hague is president of Hague Quality Water International. He served as vice president on the WQA board of governors and chairman of the association's Manufacturer Section. He also is a member of the Nominating Committee, and Ultra Low Brine Discharge and Salinity Task Forces.

“We are facing great challenges, but that also means great opportunity,” Hague says. “These are tough economic times, which makes it more important than ever for everyone in the industry to have a strong voice and a powerful advocate through WQA.”
