The FGWA put on another great show.



The 2003 Florida Ground Water Association (FGWA) convention and trade show took place May 15-17 at the Radisson Resort at the Port, Cape Canaveral, Fla.

More than 50 exhibitors were on hand to show off their latest offerings in drilling-related products and services.

A full slate of educational programs addressed such timely topics as direct-push methods, increasing profitability, drill rig maintenance, constant pressure versus pressure tanks, new, statewide rule changes and variable frequency drives. There also was a mini mud school. Dave Hanson of Design Water Technologies, this year’s McEllhiney Lecturer, gave the keynote address.

Social events included a golf tournament, a poolside party and a casino cruise.

Next year’s FGWA show is May 13-16 in Orlando.
