What are the prospects for an infrastructure bill?

Contractors we talk to want to see an infrastructure bill passed in 2018, and President Trump even talked it up during his State of the Union. Do you think the President and Congress can get it done?

Maybe if Trump proposed it in 2017, but now Democrats are gunning for him.

Between GOP squabbles and Democratic opposition, I bet it can’t even get out of Congress.

Of course Trump can get it done. He got that big tax cut done, didn’t he?

It may get done, but not in time for contract bids this year.
