In April's The Driller, we interviewed a woman who hadn’t planned to, but ended up spending a more than 20-year career in the drilling industry. That got us wondering, how did you get into drilling?

It’s the family business, so I guess you could say it’s hereditary.

I answered a want ad 20 years ago, and the rest is history.

A friend recommended rig work. It makes good money, so I figured “Why not?”

I’ve always been good with my hands, so running big equipment’s a natural fit.
