Some years ago I had a job as a drilling foreman for a large contractor. Sometimes when we would bid a job, they would ask me to go look at the location to see what we needed.
I’m involved with a number of blogs and chat rooms on the Internet. Most
of them are drilling related, everything
from geotechnical to water wells,
directional drilling and oilfield.
Got a call from a driller I had met on Facebook, and we had discussed jobs for quite a while. He said he had an irrigation well that was pumping sand, and had been doing it for a while.
With the oilfield slowdown and the fact that I hadn’t been home much in the last few years, I decided to be a little closer to Lottie until my next adventure.
