Isn’t Your Emerging Drillers Series Discrimination?
This week, host and drilling expert Brock Yordy takes a question from Veronica, who has concerns about “age discrimination” in our new Emerging Drillers series. The series aims to put focus on excellence in under-40 professionals working drilling, groundwater and supporting industries. It’s Ask Brock 218.
Yordy argues programs like this, far from being discriminatory, serve a badly-needed purpose.
“We’ve found ourselves in a very precarious situation of not having a true next generation of champions that can be here for the next 30, 40 years,” Yordy says. “That’s what the Emerging Drillers series is.”
“It’s showing that we have a whole new generation ready to be muddy,” he adds.
