Guidance on Makeup, Breakout of Drilling Rods

“Proper lubrication is going to make the rods last as long as they possibly can,” Delahunty says. “Those threads will do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Shoulders will do exactly what they’re supposed to do. You’ll be able to utilize those rods to the best of you and your crew’s ability.”
