Drilling services firm Geotechnology Exploration LLC has hired Cody Boynton as drilling manager based in Geotechnology’s Kansas City office.

“Cody has worked in wide-ranging drilling-related roles including being a roughneck, a casing crew leader, a solids control technician and a drilling engineer,” says Geotechnology Exploration President Jim Howe. “His broad-based knowledge, abilities and experience will be tremendously beneficial to our team and our clients.”

Boynton comes to Geotechnology after working for companies based in New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas and Montana. He has more than 10 years of diverse drilling and engineering experience in the energy and consulting fields. He graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering with a minor in geology.
