The Pile Installation Recorder (PIR) by Pile Dynamics Inc. monitors the installation of augered cast-in-place piles.
Multiple sensors send data wirelessly to a main unit mounted in the cab, which displays grout volume versus depth, torque and other installation parameters. The handheld PIR Viewer shows the same information to an inspector. The PIR may be installed on any drill rig with fixed mast or swinging leads, including those that operate in low headroom.
