Geokon’s Model 4820 Jackout Pressure Cell is designed for installation in diaphragm walls, to monitor soil pressure on the back of the wall as excavation proceeds.

The sensitive face of the pressure cell is pushed against the soil surface and held under pressure by means of a hydraulic ram and reaction plate until the concrete has cured. The 4820 may be supplemented by a piezometer to measure groundwater pressures. For more information, visit www.geokon.com.
