Weldco-Beales Manufacturing's casing hammers increase penetration rates in difficult formations and their "drill-through" design means drillers can advance casing while drilling.

Known for reliability and high-energy driving force, Weldco-Beales Manufacturing (WBM) casing hammers increase penetration drilling rates in extremely difficult formations. The “drill-through” design on WBM’s hammers means drillers can advance casing even as drilling progresses. Operators can also precisely control energy output and the number of blows per minute to accommodate varying formations.

Weldco has three casing hammer models capable of driving casings from 4 inches to 24 inches in diameter. Operated by a single mechanical valve, WBM casing hammers will not freeze in cold weather operating conditions. Also, a simple adjustment to the casing hammer and removal of top anvil collar will allow up-driving for casing withdrawal.

Casing hammers can be fitted to most standard rotary top-drive rigs.
