Flint & Walling recently announced its acquisition of Wolf Pumps, a family owned and operated submersible and turbine pump company.

The Kendallville, Ind.-based Flint & Walling, says the purchase will help its goals to provide “complete water solutions” to its wholesale customers.

“The Wolf Pump acquisition enhances F&W’s position as a complete single line supplier of American-made pumps for our wholesale customers,” said Flint & Walling President Scott Lechner. “Wolf is a highly successful company manufacturing products that complement and strengthen our current offering.”

Founded in 1952, Wolf Pumps manufactures submersible and turbine pumps in 4- to 8-inch sizes with capacities ranging from 35-1,000 gallons per minute. Wold Pumps are available with glass-lined cast iron or ductile iron bowls, and are known for high efficiency and rugged durability.

“With our established engineering and sales expertise, we feel we can further expand and grow on Wolf’s current success,” said Lechner, “including incorporating a component build program both in Kendallville and with many of our key wholesale customers.”

Wolf Pumps are sold through a network of distributors.

Flint & Walling is a leading manufacturer in the worldwide water industry. Established in 1866, the company is now a division of Zoeller Corporation.
