The Illinois Association of Groundwater Professionals (IAGP) held its annual meeting and expo Feb. 9-10 in East Peoria, Ill., and, as usual, a great deal was accomplished over the two-day event.
Nearly 50 vendors filled the exhibit hall, which was open a total of seven hours over the two-day event, giving the 175 attendees plenty to take in.
Educational programming covered important topics such as constant-pressure systems, rig performance, well development, labor laws, drilling fluids and grouting. There also was a full-day presentation, “Enhancing Performance of Geothermal Heat Pump Systems for Schools and Commercial Buildings,” which provided an in-depth look at geothermal technology.
Looking ahead to next year, it’s right back to East Peoria, Feb. 14-15. ND
