Atlas Copco Drilling Solutions has announced the release of its latest blasthole reference book, “Blasthole Drilling in Open Pit Mining.” This reference book is its second edition, and focuses primarily on rotary blasthole drilling and the techniques, tools, bits and various conditions that the drilling rigs are exposed to around the world.

The first edition was released in 2009, and the second edition has been updated with a number of new application stories, case studies and product specifications that are designed to address current challenges faced by drillers. The new reference book will be available through local Atlas Copco customer centers and distributors, and at www.atlascopco.com/blastholedrills.
