When a company has served the environmental and geotechnical drilling industry for more than a decade, it might seem .difficult to take service to another level. But Terra Drill Inc. has taken that next step with the addition of Craig Maxeiner as its environmental exploration services manager.

The Dupo, Ill.-based company, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in October, provides all-terrain drilling, mud rotary drilling, rock coring, hollow-stem auger drilling and direct-push probing. Past projects have included Ballpark Village in St. Louis, SSM Healthcare, St. Louis Lambert Airport, SW Illinois levee project and St. Louis Galleria to name just a few.

Maxeiner brings to Terra Drill more than 30 years of experience in drilling, exploration and geotechnical services. Since 1980, he has been associated with PSC Industrial Outsourcing LP and its predecessors in environmental services and consulting. He served for more than 10 years as section chief with Exploration Services of Columbia, Ill., meeting or exceeding revenue and profit goals on a consistent basis.

Maxeiner began his career as a geotechnical laboratory technician in Columbia, Ill. He holds drilling licenses in Missouri, Nebraska and South Carolina, along with associate degrees in mechanical drafting and civil engineering technician from Florissant Valley Community College in St. Louis. He also has extensive experience in health and safety, and Department of Transportation regulations and regulatory compliance.
