National Pump Anniversary, Personnel Changes
National
Pump Co. (NPC), located in Glendale, Ariz. recently held an open house to
celebrate its 40th year in the pump manufacturing business, as well as the
opening of its new corporate headquarters. Since 1969, NPC has been producing
pumps and pump systems for irrigation, municipal water, mining, industrial and
API-610 applications. On Jan. 23, guests and employees celebrated with a full
day of activities. The building, grounds and pump-testing facility were
showcased with a plant tour and pump-test demonstrations.
In other news, Dick Kampfen has been promoted to National Pump’s western regional sales manager. Kampfen’s duties include direct sales, as well as development and supervision of outside sales personnel within the Western Region. NPC’s Western Region includes Alaska, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Texas and Oklahoma; Mexico and Canada also are considered part of this region.
NPC recently hired Don Carlile as an outside sales representative. Carlile has been in the pump industry for more than 40 years. His territory covers Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Canada.
