Manual Slide Hammer
September 28, 2001
Geoprobe Systems announces its manual slide hammer, designed to drive direct push tooling without a machine or within confined areas. These hammers can be used with 1.25- or 1-inch probe rods, and they come in either 45-, 30- or 15-pound models. Working best for shallow sampling (5-10 feet), the slide hammers also can be used with most Geoprobe tooling, including the LB and Macro-Core Soil Samplers, the SP15 Groundwater Sampler for soil gas sampling, and the Direct Image Conductivity System.
