As part of its effort to communicate the latest information on the federal final rule that sets drinking water standards for five individual per-and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances, including PFOA, PFOS, PFNA, PFHxS, and HFPO-DA, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has scheduled a free webinar on the PFAS drinking water rule for April 30, 2024, from 2 to 3 p.m. ET.
The PFAS rule was finalized on April 10, 2024, and the EPA webinar is scheduled to cover two topics, including an overview of the drinking water regulation and treatment processes for removing PFAS compounds from drinking water, EPA says. In addition, a question and answer session is scheduled to be held from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
