Device Designed to Speed Up Removal of Conical Auger Bits
Harrison, Ohio-based manufacturer Auger Technologies has introduced their Bullet Tooth Puller, a device the company says can quickly and safely remove even the most stubborn conical auger bits from augers, cold planers, asphalt grinders and other equipment with conical bits in blind holes.
In a release, the company says the Bullet Tooth Puller, powered either manually or with an impact wrench (not provided), removes conical auger teeth in a fraction of the time normally required, saving money. Operators can efficiently remove auger teeth, even those worn and stuck fast, in minutes. Auger Technologies adds that, once new teeth are installed, operators have removed a valuable asset from the “bone yard” and returned it to productivity. The company says the device is ideal for any auger with standard conical teeth, or bits in blind holes like pavement grinders, cold planers, and more.
