Adam Alexander, P.E., has been announced as the newest geotechnical engineer at Knoxville, Tenn.-based Rembco Geotechnical Contractors Inc. Alexander is a former U.S. Marine and comes complete with the education and experience to hit the ground running, the company says.

His civil engineering degree from the University of Tennessee, along with five years of geotechnical experience at S&ME, and six years with GEO Services as their director of geotechnical engineering, combine to provide a strong professional underpinning.

In his new position, Alexander will lead teams in the design, installation and testing of deep foundation systems. He will also provide engineering support and project management for a variety of specialty grouting projects including sinkhole repair, lifting and stabilizing buildings and other structures, slope stabilization, shoring systems and rock fall prevention/protection.
