Bauer Foundation Corp. Pile Project Expected to Wrap by Year End
BFC Subcontracted for Fort Bliss Hospital Replacement
Bauer Foundation Corp. is deep into a project at William Beaumont Army Medical Center to install 595 bored piles with diameters up to 2.1 meters. The $6.2 million subcontract to the Texas-based joint venture Clark McCarthy Healthcare Partners II is expected to wrap up by the end of this year.
The new building will house the campus’ main hospital, as well as inpatient and outpatient clinics, offices, and research and supply facilities. In a release, the company says it deployed four Bauer BG fixed-mast rotary rigs with crews for the project, which involves installations on various working platforms at various heights. The piles are drilled and installed using temporary casing and polymer slurry method.
