Vermeer announced in late January several promotions in its leadership team.
 
Jason Andringa will serve as president of forage and environmental solutions, and Doug Hundt is now president of underground and specialty excavation solutions. Tony Briggs was also promoted, to vice president for sales and distribution.
 
Andringa and Hundt will co-chair Vermeer’s executive team and report to CEO Mary Andringa.
 
Jason Andringa has worked with the company since June 2005, most recently as vice president of distribution and global accounts. Doug Hundt, a 19-year Vermeer veteran, has served in roles from sales to marketing, and from product development and manufacturing. Hundt most recently served as group vice president over industrial.
 
Andringa’s new role, the company said in a release, will include oversight of forage and environmental segments, as well as industrial distribution and corporate engineering. Hundt’s new role oversees the underground and excavation segments, as well as emerging markets.
 
Briggs joined Vermeer in 1998, and has worked in marketing, sales and management capacities. He was most recently director of the underground solutions.
