NTL Is Accredited
National Testing Laboratories Ltd. recently announced
that its drinking water testing facility located in Ypsilanti, Mich., now is
accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005. This accreditation demonstrates technical
competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality
management system.
ISO 17025:2005 is the international standard by which a laboratory’s commitment to quality is evaluated. National Testing Laboratories achieved this accreditation by demonstrating technical competence for the environmental testing of drinking water. ISO 17025:2005 not only considers the management and technical expertise, but also emphasizes continuous process improvement.
“Achieving ISO 17025:2005 accreditation is further evidence that National Testing Laboratories is committed to providing high-quality testing for our customers,” says Robert Gelbach, owner and president.
